Waiting For Reality’s Treasure

Waiting For Reality’s Treasure
By: Tyler Ross

The world is tough and doesn’t owe you a thing
You can’t figure out the tricks
You can’t figure out other human beings
You sit there by yourself
Being yourself
The planet is confusing
But you stay content while you sit on the shelf
Waiting for the right exposure
To show off what you can do
The genius you possess through and through
Quite nerdy but always with that smile
Its only a matter of time
Before your reflection is captivated
Along with your unique sense of style
Patiently waiting or patiently thinking
Collectively balanced but already relinquishing
The path you’re getting yourself into
Nevertheless, the goal is never second best
But a matter of strategically winning first prize
Honorable mentioned or leave him out back
No worries or failure can knock him off track
Because he’ll always believe in you
The decision can scar
Or raise the bar
To where warriors are triumphant
And the defeated competition are
An exact dream he’s dreamt before
The sorcerer and his sword
The king of the rock award
The guitar player who plays his chord
Beautifully like the day they first met
Open the door she stood
More graceful than before
Luminous and electrified
The heart then multiplied
Because he knew he found his long lost treasure
