Sometimes I can’t grasp
what I’m feeling inside
I wish I could see your face
or that last moment in time
I wonder what I’d be like to see you again
you were so close, but now so far away
my best friend
I remember the days
where I never left your side
two big smiles and laughter
but again I’m crushed tonight
your life was so fragile
too short, taken so fast
I sit here lonely, waiting
will you come back
I won’t forget you
I’ll see you again
One day we’ll meet again
my best friend
