Lockdown Decisions

release the switch
which controls the power
the over aggressive force
adhesively glued together
try walking in an old man's shoes
the tread of miles in search
a distance long over due
release the handle
the overlooking connector
hovering so bent and rusted
out of place in this gray sector
massive amounts of color
with only one choice to make
selection is granted
but foiled and late
signs show a broken rate
of attempts of solidity
grasp for me.
