Crying Rivers

Crying Rivers
By: Tyler Ross

You’ll never be me, nor should you care to. I’m not like you, nor do I plan to. Do all the things that I despise. You can fill a warehouse with your cheap replies. Convenience lays perfect just for you, but you cry when things don’t go the way they do. Always wondering why you get treated like dirt. Wondering why you continue to dig out the hurt. I know the answers and yes do they feel great. Constant complaining can’t be erased because you can’t escape. Swimming up the river of tears. No longer can you paddle surrounded by smoking mirrors. Can’t erase and no escape with an attitude in the clear. Go run to someone who actually cares. This river overflows with many just like you. Maybe you should join a club or cult and drink the punch to die too. The ball is in your flood. Only you can help you. But you’ll cry rivers and tidal wave all the bliss that finds you. Now, where will you be? Crying rivers and living in the blues.
