Blown Out Of Proportion

Blown Out Of Proportion
By: Tyler Ross

I’ve got an idea, that’s bound to break your fall
Let’s pretend you made it out alive
Don’t worry, they won’t even recognize you at all
What a subordinate reject you’ve stained to opposite eyes
Such a hopeless tragedy for promise
Why do you parade around wasting people’s time?
Follow the shine of the light at the end of the tunnel
The permanent county mishap kind
The valuable lesson is handy, so sign the dotted line
Make way for the loser’s intuition
You are the head of the class reunion
Can we please have a toast for the valedictorian?
The average wants your excuse to state, “I’m only human!”
You failed as the lead and we ask that you please
Put away the pledges and take a seat
Far away from anyone else; when you want to compete
You are a common case of the norm
A fledgling not quite ready for flight
Prepare to join the reoccurring storm
Back to the beginning where it all took place
Just another damn nobody
Who is way too easy to be replaced
