His Casualty
By: Tyler Ross
Made perfect all around
She is one of many I know
Heart stopping, there’s so much to show
Crosses your life, but doesn’t even know
You’re speechless, and its hard to think about it
Girl, has it great or so she knows
Her man plays her as he comes and goes
Lies rule her life, but smiles always show
And still she chooses to be with him
Tell me, did he sweep you off your feet?
And then, was he consistent early before his retreat?
Girl, when will you realize it’s all fake?
Please don’t continue to make another mistake
Because you are way too divine
You should be treated like you are one of a kind
Think about it, don’t rewind
You are an amazing find
Example
It hurts me to see you with him
When I know you’ll always just be
Another casualty
I can’t sleep
And it crushes at my heart
You’re so breathtaking like a falling star
But still another casualty
Her mind’s set so
She chooses to ignore
The one who loves her and adores
She feels respected and safe in his arms
But it’s only a matter of time
When you are replaced and he feels satisfied
And you’re left crying feeling less alive
Don’t be foolish and follow the signs
Before you’re used, alone with another goodbye
Did he sweep you off your feet?
And then, was he consistent early before his retreat?
Girl, when will you realize it’s all fake?
Please don’t continue to make another mistake
Because you are way too divine
You should be treated like you are one of a kind
Think about it, don’t rewind
You are an amazing find
It hurts me to see you with him
When I know you’ll always just be
Another casualty
I can’t sleep
And it crushes at my heart
You’re so breathtaking like a falling star
But still another casualty
Priceless, I know
He can’t recognize your magnificence
So, he don’t deserve you like I do
Girl, dig down deep within you
Irreplaceable not to spare
Its time someone truly cared
It hurts me to see you with him
When I know you’ll always just be
Another casualty
I can’t sleep
And it crushes at my heart
You’re so breathtaking like a falling star
But still another casualty
