I Traveler
By: Tyler Ross
As I walk out into the optimistic world of all
Highway blues, while I cityscape through the breeze
I hear the calls of the past, "come back!"
"Please come back!" I will never come back
If I have learned one important life fact
It would be to hold your inner-child's heart close
Because it never loses its smile, for I toast
To a leap of justice and a rebellious teen
Don't ever let the roaches cling
And continue to follow the life long dream
I travel the road, this road in which I borrow
Past the cities, the hills, the trees for a better tomorrow
A traveler alone, I seek this traveler alone
Please don't come home
You can never ache for home
